Feeling hijacked by your thoughts or emotions?

The Root Problem
Living reactively instead of consistently with the standards you've set for yourself.
You may recognise this if:
1. Circumstances control how you show up.
2. Your emotions determine how you respond.
3. You react before your values have a chance to lead.

Why this works
Most emotional reactions originate from unmet expectations and the belief that external circumstances determine our experience. Personal Command Code is your code of conduct, it interrupts the emotional pattern by helping individuals become aware of their self-expectations, reclaim authority over their emotional responses, and consciously choose their next action. This creates greater self-command and reduces reactionary behaviour.

Your Practise:

Any moment life calls you to show up, show up by remembering your personal command code: EEC

E | Expectation Awareness

What do I expect of myself right now, this moment?

Define the standard you want to lead yourself by, not the reaction fear demands.

e.g.I expect to do this at full effort.

E | Emotional Authority

Who decides how I should feel?

What emotion do I want to bring to this moment?

Choose the emotion that leads rather than allowing emotions to choose for you.

e.g. I choose to be excited about what I'm doing.

C | Choice Ownership

What action do I choose to take — and stand behind?

Select an action that reflects your leadership rather than your fear.

e.g. Choose and take the action without negotiating yourself out of it.
